Don't take our word for it.
Watch the line fail.

Recorded on real hardware, with faults injected on the bench. Every number on screen is measured from the recording itself.

A line fails mid-call.
The call carries on.

Two identical desk phones share one internet line. One plugs straight in; the other goes through a Weavian box with a second line from another provider. We break the shared line two ways, dead and bad, and record what each phone does.

What the recording shows

Failover is fast and the call is kept. There is still a brief gap while the switch happens, and the recording shows exactly how long.

Plain phone

Plugged straight into Fiber 1

Dead line
3.2 sSilent for the whole outage
Bad line
5 dropoutsChoppy, over 5.7 seconds

One line, no fallback. The call is only as good as Fiber 1.

Weavian phone

Through the Weavian box, Fiber 2 in reserve

Dead line
0.35 sOne pause, then the call carried on over Fiber 2
Bad line
≤ 0.1 sLongest pause, as the call moved to Fiber 2

Same call throughout. Nobody hung up, nobody redialed.

Dead line: every packet on Fiber 1 dropped, as after a cut cable or a provider outage. Bad line: 80% of packets dropped, as on a damaged or overloaded line. Both produced with a fault box on the bench, with the line check at its fastest setting, every 0.1 seconds (extreme failover). Recorded 29 September 2026; every number is measured from the recording.
